No, as they say, fucking kidding. This is true for every sphere of life, every interaction anyone has with anyone. I try not to get over-hysterical about anything because the story of life on earth and human civilization is cycles and not a straight (or crooked) road forward, but the relentless efforts to make people ignore their own instincts, and to destroy the faculty in children, is certainly all-out war. We don't need to bring in spiritual warfare hyperventilation when exposing it. Everything in life is about power and resources, and in every society children are the least powerful and are often treated as commodities (see: adoption and surrogacy).
I can remember when children's clothes were childish. Nowadays one can dress one's toddler girl like a tart in training. And don't talk about leftists please--the "Toddlers and Tiaras" crowd wasn't based on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. This is an equal-opportunity abomination.
