I have known one of the beyond brilliant signatories well since childhood and am unsurprised to see his name on it.
Instead of tweeting the link and posting the link on relevant forums to the original blog piece, you copy-and-pasted the original blog piece into your own blog, and tweeted and posted links to your copy.
In other words, you are free-riding on the efforts of other creators to try to draw traffic to your own website without having added anything of value yourself, to ultimately benefit monetarily yourself from the efforts of the original creators.
