I would retweet but I’ve been kicked off Twitter on four separate occasions, mostly for discussing Freedom Convoy and Coutts 4.

Excellent work, Mr Brunet, you deserve all of your victories.

Gay is costing Harvard huge bucks and that will seal her fate not being a serial plagiarist

Certainly Harvard is swimming in socio/psycho/cultural pathology. I am very glad I never attended.

The legendary investment manager, Peter Lynch, wrote that ideally you want to invest in a business that could be run by an idiot, because sooner or later, it will be. Both Harvard and Stanford have had not one but two (assuming Gay has to go) presidents forced to resign in the last generation. Deeply embarrassing to be sure but their long term brand strength remains undiminished. Even the comments by would be donors suspending (not ending in most cases) future contributions have to be viewed in terms of the size of Harvard's $50 billion endowment.

I have no doubt that university boards and administrators will be pushing back against the forces that have led them to their current policies. However, to suggest that there is long term irreversible damage to Harvard akin to that of Bud Light is simply not a serious comment.

The greatest immediate risk to elite universities is that they have managed to position themselves in opposition to one of the two political parties. For now, the response by Republicans has been limited to stupid gestures, like the proposed 35% endowment tax, that is meant just to serve as "read meat for the boobs". Given the role that federal funding plays at major research universities, including the all important overhead charges that pays for all those deans and DEI programs, universities need to clean up their act pronto.

Major progress toward sanity in what otherwise appeared to be an impenetrable wall of wokeness. For better or worse, none of her progressive sentiments and hardline positions sealed her fate, no it was plagiarism of all things. And at this point, I really don’t care what it takes as long as we get our victory letter or resignation. Bravo!
