Just how long to do think it will take for the left & media to blame Gay’s troubles on Trump? Gay’s supporters are already claiming this is a “right wing” attack. Their only defense for everything is ‘Trump’ & Maga did it. Asking for a friend.

Someone should look into DC District Court Judge Jia M. Cobb. She's definitely a fraud as well and another DEI placement. Would love to see that J6 Gulag Commander exposed

Christopher, when there is more info/development, please do an update on what is known so far regarding data quality in her papers/dissertation. I understand that there are people attempting to reconstruct her datasets....or something?

My sense is that, if suspicions, actually a tad more than suspicions now, turn out to be quantifiable and exposed, it would be far more damaging than the plagiarism. But I'm not quantitative/statistical, just kinda good at simple arithmetic.

I'm glad you are doing this work to showcase the acts of plagiarism by Claudine Gay. She is a symptom of a much greater problem of incapable people being put in positions of power because the people who hire them refuse to distinguish between effective people and those who are incompetent.

In 1995 I worked for a wealthy psychopath who had this view that everyone else was worthless. So it was impossible to get him to make rational hiring choices. I could prove a dozen times that his niece was actively hiding case files, watching television instead of handling customer intake, and engaging in deceit to prevent the effective operation of the office she ran, but he refused to fire her or even just keep her from going to the office. He hired toxic people because in his view, everyone is worthless. Eventually I left.

Wouldn't Harvard flunk a student who plagiarized a paper?

How many minor duplicative text errors does it need before it counts as plagiarism? I think we're on about 50 so far in half her minimal oeuvre?

No doubt. This is plagiarism.

There's plagiarism.... and then there's "cut and paste academics." Not only should Gay be removed, all her credentials should be taken from her, including her PhD. And, perhaps using AI, a cross-university effort should be made to purge from academia the "game-playing" class who dominate its leadership.

Unfortunately, apparently there are at least Harvard 400 professors & colleagues that voted to keep her in office. The whole place has become so corrupt and tainted by lemming left-think that getting rid of Gay at this point will change diddly-squat unless Harvard does a conscientious, transparent self examination and either successfully refutes these charges full-on or does a major overhaul. Frankly if I were a Harvard alumni, I would start a class action lawsuit against the elite management and college board as Gay along with colleagues that voted to keep her have greatly diminished the value, reputation and glamour of a Harvard degree. No one is ever likely to regard a holder of a Harvard degree with the same religious fervor that earlier graduates enjoyed. As things are now, If she does leave, it will be only after a multi-million dollar payout and under the cloud of media charges that the whole thing is just another example of “systemic institutional colonial racism”. What a mess. “One bad apple can spoil the whole barrel...””

If she were white, she'd be the former president of Harvard. I'd love to see Harvard attempt to charge a student for plagiarism or academic dishonesty. That might present a bit of a conundrum.

I don’t know why this isn’t criminal. She’s literally looted from scores of hard-working academics. It’s disgusting that Harvard is keeping her on; it’s almost vindictive. And the hubris is chilling.

Though frankly if I was a Harvard alumni I would join a class action lawsuit against the whole elite Harvard management & board for proxy damage to my academic and professional reputation. No one is ever going to regard a holder of a Harvard degree with the same near-religious fervor ever again. She makes them

Just another thought. Is there any connection between Prof Gay and former National Security Advisor Susan Rice? They both are about the same age, Stanford grads and hang in the same DC-Cambridge social set, it seems. What made me wonder about this was the recent nudging by President Obama of Claudine Gay to stay on as Harvard president. This probably involved communication with the Harvard board's chair, Penny Pritzker, who early in Obama's career served as his national campaign finance chair. Round and round we go, where we stop, nobody knows.

With each passing day, Harvard's reputation plunges further down the toilet and takes the stench-ridden DEI peanut gallery along with it. Soon even the woke Pritzker heiress, whose billions secretly fund all the "trans" madness that has metastasized through the West, will have no choice but to ax the "esteemed scholar" President Claudine Gay, PhD.

Anyway, I'm enjoying my ringside seat to this circus freak show.

Dear Christopher, You made my day -- and started the New Year off on a positive note with the newest revelations about the Perils of Claudine at Harvard! She's definitely bad news. Maybe the university can make it up to the current student body stuck with this festering mess by refunding this semester's tuition payments; hell, throw in room & board while they're at it. By doing this the school would once again set the pace for outstanding academic leadership, right? Well, not so fast. Claudine would need to step aside first; they could call her "Adjunked President" or something, giver her some money, and a new Board of Overseers Search Committee could be formed from a first year Marketing class at the B-School -- you know, the graduate school across the river from Cambridge. Perhaps they (the new board) will remove the word Harvard from the institution's name and just go by The George F. Baker Graduate School of Business. I can dream, can't I?
