Can you please get an autotranscriber and post a transcript? Some of us have to use our eyes. Many thanks.

The implications of your research seem massive for North American academic culture as a whole, especially with this Al project coming up. Love the goal of supporting meritocracy.

Much admiration and good luck wishes for your continued work from a fellow Canuck!

Btw I was unable to track this down on Spotify, would prefer to listen there ;-).

Nice podcast. Regarding your hesitation to defund... I think you might agree that the defunding should be targeted to the politicized elements and administrators. A researcher in Chemistry, per your example, should not be targeted. However, I do wonder why the tenured do not speak up more. They have a choice and their choice is often to keep quiet despite the protections afforded them. It makes you wonder why we have such thing as tenure, but I digress.

BTW, your AI idea is great! Look forward to the results.

Enjoyed the interview; however, the comment you read indicated Gay was oppressed . . . From what I have read, her background does not evidence that she actually was "oppressed. Look forward to the results of your AI research on other university presidents.
