It's time for Anya Samek to step up
Yale University vows to 'geolocate' most EJMR users [PART 7]
This is part 7 in an ongoing investigation.
I am not going to summarize the first 6 parts, sorry, it’s just too messy.
After being ghosted by Ederer, it seemed only right for me to challenge the outspoken Joshua Gans and Anya Samek to debate me on the following proposition: "EJMR should be deplatformed and demonetized".
Note that this Gans/Samek debate is not affiliated with Stanford in any capacity.
My Stanford speech is still happening.
This is a whole new thing.
I picked Gans because he constantly harasses EJMR’s advertisers in attempt to demonetize EJMR. This is his pinned tweet, for example:
He instantly declined.
He suggested that I debate Justin Wolfers. Interesting idea.
Before I pursue that option however, I will wait for Dr. Samek’s response.
The reason I picked Samek is that she is leading a petition to censor EJMR.
This is her pinned tweet:
She has tweeted her desire to censor EJMR hundreds of times, and has given a scathing quote to any mainstream outlet that will listen to her. Now, she has an opportunity to rigorously back up her words in front of the whole world. You want to be the leader of the anti-EJMR movement, Anya? Okay, be the leader the anti-EJMR movement. It’s time to step up. Email me back, or don’t. The choice is yours.
An EJMR debate is a good idea. If it was 2 people on each side, with a well-known moderator, it might work better. Also, tho logistics are harder, it would be better live. You could do it in the same city at the same time as the AEA conference and sell tickets to finance hiring the room. See our MIT Free Speech Alliance debate. This is the sort of gladiator sport I could really enjoy. Gonna start crocheting my viewing toga now. (I got some nice linen summer-weight yarn in my stash…)
