I speak twice in this segment, right at the start, and also in the middle:
The most impactful part of the interview was undoubtedly Dr. Carol Swain's perspective. As the person whose work was plagiarized, her stance in defense of truth was truly courageous. In a sane world, Dr. Swain's remarks ought to have a significant impact on the situation involving Dr. Gay, yet it appears that Harvard's response has been disappointingly indifferent.
For those who have been subscribed to Karlstack for a long time, you might know that public speaking was always something I struggled with. I’ve avoided it for years, turning down every TV/podcast invite I ever got. Heck, I even turned down a couple of Tucker appearances when he was at the peak of his Fox show, simply because I wasn’t ready to speak live. This feels like a big step. I’m ready!
Not for nothing, but since Tucker was fired, Fox’s ratings fell by 19% in prime time, with the major beneficiary being Newsmax. Newsmax ratings are up by 43% year over year.
They invited me back tomorrow, so I guess this went okay. I am struggling to make eye contact with the camera while speaking… I’m working on it.
You did great. And I feel such a sense of vicarious pride in your accomplishments. You've written so compellingly from the start about matters that are hard to make thrilling sagas and yet you succeeded so brilliantly. And you chose the right people to pursue.
Almost all of MSM are focusing on Ms. Gay's testimony in front of congress and completely ignoring her plagiarism. To see Harvard vote to keep her as president is yet another sign of how far the Ivies have fallen in stature.
