*As a Jew* whose maternal grandparents were illegal aliens (later naturalized in an amnesty) and whose great-great uncle, his wife and four adult daughters were murdered in Uman by the Nazis, I unequivocally support free speech: vile, not vile, unvile; unhinged, totally hinged; rife with slurs, nauseatingly correct, boring, inflammatory--

--there are for me no forbidden words, no unsayable syllables, no concept that may not be framed in human language and published anywhere and everywhere.

I encounter plenty of antisemitic nonsense in comments threads and I exercise my faculty of free thinking to think that they are morons, but I neither flag them nor mind them. Morons gonna moron. Let 'em do so in peace.

And grifters gonna grift, and scumbags gonna scumbag etc.

And please, Chris--you don't need permission from any ye olde Jewish friends to write what you yourself think. Your audience, of which I am a proud early member, has brains of its own to figure out what you intend by any words you write, and if any of 'em, God forbid, should turn out to be morons themselves, in misunderstanding your intent, upon any such fool be the blame.

Good Pesach! Happy Easter! Eid Mubarak!

Thank you, ADL, for a list of Substack writers to add to my subscription list. Much obliged.

I'm trying to find the words and I can't. I wrote about this on my Substack as well. Free speech is being strangled and Elon Musk is laughing all the way. We have been imprisoned in echo chambers by the algorithms. Twitter is dead. Once Substack goes, that's it. It's back to making a difference in your own community, face to face. This is the only way to bring real change anyway. I've been silenced my whole life and once I found Substack, it was the first time I could say what I really wanted to say and it was amazing. I will never stop fighting but this is a sad Good Friday.

The allies of the “deep state” and the ‘legacy media cabal’ attack people who complain about the the deep state and the legacy media cabal.

What's next?

The people who complain about the deep state and the legacy media cabal are again attacked by the allies of the “deep state” and the ‘legacy media cabal’ attack?

I fear for Substack. The deep state and the legacy media cabal are essentially all-powerful. Who can really withstand them? Not Elon Musk, it seems.

An excellent and detailed take down of exactly why the ADL’s approach is so very bad. And yes, if they get rid of Substack, they will also get rid of many Jewish authors. Golf clap, guys.

The shotgun marriage of the global corporate state and the Social Justice cult has established a Church/State ruling coalition, and one of their primary goals is to gain complete control of all major forms of communication and have their propaganda blasting out of every loudspeaker.

You can see how one hand washes the other here: the global corporate state needs its enemies vanquished but needs to stay within US Civil Rights and 1st Amendment laws (at least until they can be gutted), and the ADL of course are first-class grifters who need both a constant stream of funds plus a pretext (the eternal battle against Hate™!) to keep the gravy train running smoothly.

So the global corporate state (which of course includes the progressive oligarchy that own and operate the Democratic Party, the NGOocracy, Big Tech, Hollywood and academia etc) zeroes in on a target, in this case the Substack swamp where that ragtag band of rebels Taibbi Shellenberger & Weiss et al. have dared to oppose the regime, and the job of eliminating that target goes to its "Hate & Disinformation" wing (in this case the ADL, but many others soon to follow).

The ADL of course like every gangster operation knows how to isolate its target, apply some muscle and the usual extortion threats: "Hey, nice platform you got there, but I'm afraid you have a problem with harmful content." ("Harmful" of course the euphemism du jour for blasphemy and heresy.)

Then they station themselves outside while pointing their superweapon at you: the Bigotry Accusation. "Do what we tell you or every person or entity you know or do business with, from your grandma to your internet provider to the custodial staff will know that you are fascist racist Jew-hating Nazis".

This strategy has been enormously successful (ideological fanaticism plus the promiscuous use of Bigotry Accusations is how the Left conquered academia), and if it doesn't work this time, other more intense strongarm tactics will be coming soon.

ADL stands for "Always Destroying Liberty." I would say they've gone the way of the ACLU, except that the ACLU used to actually support free speech, even from speakers they disagreed with. (See, this clip from Bill Maher with Ira Glasser: https://youtu.be/x0Lc5b8Flto). I don't think the ADL has ever been a fan of having an open and honest discussion about anything. Their latest, laughably absurd hit piece against "disinformation" (their organization is the motherload of "disinformation" -- truly the pot calling the kettle black) is just par for the course. They did a good job, though, of giving dissidents and hererodox seekers additional substacks to read.

15 years ago I had a chat with an American friend who kept referring to people as 'Jesus Freaks'. I asked him if it was wise to use these terms asking him to take it to its logical end. He didn't see it at all. He was indignant as a New England liberal. He was on the side of reason and those people have whatever comes to them.

This has been simmering and festering for a long time. And here we are. Another level up from it.

It's all gonna end in violence and collapse. It has to. Only then can you have a rebirth; a renaissance.

You cannot move forward with things as they are where we stand as a civilization. It's impossible.

I tried a Twitter post from within Substack and did not go over. External post with substack link did go up. However the images no longer display. When click on link it says potential spam encouraging ppl to go back to Twitter but allows to continue in a discouraging way. I think it is revenue related. Substack is challenging it for revenue and content. All of the social media are developing similar tools, mimicking each other on the things that are popular within each of the social media platforms. Maybe YouTube and Rumble not allowed in Twitter next.

Why did Jack Posobiec's piece have an image from your substack that I just can't seem to reconcile with what I see when I'm here. When I look above I see your name in your bio, not Karlstack. And the comment and like area in Jack's image isn't happening for me either...and I have a substack and have never seen this "retweet" feature or button anywhere. Anyone know?

Brilliant. I will cross-post immediately. It would be a great victory in the information war if Substack is captured. I hope Elon Musk sees the error of his ways, but I'm not holding my breath.

And thanks for providing an interesting list of Substacks for me to read.

Best wishes, Mathew.
