We have AGs for powerful and populous states who literally don’t understand the 1st Amendment, that is truly frightening. “Hate speech,” is not a category in U.S. law, nor should it be, as it’s vague and broad and could be used to justify broad censorship.
150k for redactions for a blog’s emails!? I’ve done redaction projects, earlier in my legal career. Sounds like somebody has dollar signs in their eyes.
