Chris I just canceled my monthly reoccurring GOP donation that has been going on for nearly a decade. I explained exactly why I’m canceling and I requested a call from “Ronna Romney McDaniel” – mitt Romney‘s disgraceful niece.
I am not at all familiar with this district, but -- being that we're talking blue Maryland here -- the obvious question is: Is there any reason to think that another GOP candidate would have fared well enough to actually win? Not just to lose a close race, but to win. I mean, Hogan is a blatant RINO, and it's not like real conservatives stand much chance in MD.
Also, I loathe the swamp, so if losing by 50+ points is the best that the GOP establishment can muster even with their own hand-picked astroturfed candidate, then I see that as a good sign. They ain't got much game anymore, even in their own backyard.
If the attempts to rationalize with the swamp creatures along the Acela corridor fail, then we should just nuke it from orbit (figuratively speaking, of course), it's the only way to be sure.
